(Source: City and County of Denver, CO) Organizers working with area providers to focus on outreach and sheltering during cold snap DENVER - Nov. 16, 2015 - Due to blizzard warnings and forecasts of potential heavy snow in the Denver metro area Monday and Tuesday, Nov. 16 and 17, organizers of Denver's annual Project Homeless Connect have canceled the one-day event. Instead, city officials will focus efforts on outreach and providing shelter from the harsh winter conditions for the homeless in our community.
