The Dublin Region Homeless Executive (DRHE) and Dublin City Council (DCC) confirmed today that the official spring count on rough sleeping identified a minimum of 138 persons sleeping rough across the Dublin region on the night of April 4th and into the morning of 5th April. Spring Count 2017 The DRHE has been responsible for the delivery of rough sleeping counts in Dublin since 2007. Of the 138 persons discovered sleeping rough: 85 persons had previously accessed homeless services , 7 persons had not accessed such services, and of the remaining 46 there was insufficient details available to ascertain whether they had accessed this service; 85 persons were Irish nationals, 13 were non-Irish...
